Returns & Exchange
At Tavaru, every product is handcrafted with care by artisans from northern Karnataka using traditional textile practices. Each piece is carefully prepared and packed before it reaches you.
However, we understand that in rare situations something may not be right, and we’re here to help.
For Returns & Exchange (Domestic & International Orders)
We accept returns or exchanges only in the following cases:
- You received the wrong product (different from your order confirmation).
- The product has a genuine quality or manufacturing defect.
If either of these situations occurs, we will review your request and arrange a replacement with the same item or a similar product, depending on availability.
Timeframe for Returns
You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product if there is an issue.
Condition of the Product
To be eligible for return or exchange:
- The product must be unused.
- It must be in its original condition.
- It should be returned with the original packaging as received.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged or defective, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with details of the issue. After reviewing your request, we will arrange a replacement or refund, including any applicable return shipping costs.
Sale Items
Products purchased during sales, promotions, or discounts are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
How to Request a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and share the following details:
- Your order number
- Date of purchase
- Delivery address
- Clear photos of the product showing the issue
Once we receive your request, our team will guide you through the next steps.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned product and it passes our quality check, your refund will be processed. The time it takes for the refund to reflect depends on the payment method used during the purchase.
- UPI or Wallets: Usually processed instantly, but may take up to 48 hours in some cases.
- Credit / Debit Cards & Net Banking: Typically takes 7–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Bank Transfers (NEFT): Refunds usually reflect within 1–3 business days.
If the returned item does not meet the return conditions or fails our quality inspection, the item will be sent back to you and the refund will not be processed.
